Nine orchestra students have auditioned into the East-Central Region Orchestra sponsored by the Ohio Music Education Association. This group is comprised of some of the best student performers in 21 different counties. They will be performing on Sunday, November 27 at Ashland Middle School.

HS Debate Team places third

Congratulations to the Debate team for placing third overall at the Mount Vernon tournament on Saturday. The best finish was in Public Forum where the teams finished in third through sixth places. Congratulations to:

3rd - Nicole Moore & Conor Croswell

4th - Hunter Orr & Ben Cochran

5th - Lindsey Studebaker & Tori Hall

6th - Trent Grohe & Chelsea Kempton

 
 

Other top finishes for the Yellow Jackets were:

3rd Place: Steven Meeker & Erica Browning - Duo Interpretation

3rd Place: Paige Wilt - Original Oratory

5th Place: Karleigh Stichert - Original Oratory

6th Place: Lisa May - Lincoln-Douglas

6th Place: Bri Gibas - Original Oratory

Best Presiding Officer - Arie Alvarado

 

The team will be back in action next Saturday at Upper Arlington
